Dear Visitor,

you found this special site within the world wide web. It's hard to explain why I'm collecting T&M instruments which are in fact old, large, heavy and need much power to get a result. I think it is the combination of their old-fashioned look, fascinating electron tube glow, and feeling of the handcrafted construction. Of course one should keep in mind that only today it's possible to collect such fine instruments which were more expensive than a small car at their time! You will notice the difference when comparing to consumer products from the same era.

I don't like a position to define my instruments as 'classics' like you may have read in other sites of similar scope. My collection is absolute based on my personal taste - so you will not found instruments which are not attractive to me. That is one reason why I don't focus on a particular manufacturer. I like the mixing as it was - and still is - common in a lab.

Clicking on each page's title bar will bring you to the next higher level. Quick and direct access to an instrument is possible from the navigation map. Instrument's details are accessible via arrow buttons at the bottom line.

I hope you enjoy the museum and you will find some valuable information to maintain your own 'goodies'. You're welcome to send me a message, so we may talk 'T&M'.
